Evan Sands is a design strategist with over a decade of experience at the intersection of visual communication, technology, and public engagement. He most recently served as VP of Marketing & Communications and Director of Pro AV Market Development & Design Solutions at Optec Displays, Inc., where he led brand strategy, digital engagement, and product positioning across multiple business units. Earlier in his career, Evan co-founded Kore Image Technologies, developing interactive display solutions, and directed creative projects for clients including Mullen advertising agency. Now based in Zürich, he is pursuing a Master’s in Eco-Social Design at HSLU, where his research explores how design can support public access to climate research. His work bridges commercial innovation and social impact, creating tools, platforms, and experiences that make complexity more accessible.
