Visual Fields

Highlight:
Visual Fields is a Zurich-based nonprofit association and professional network for designers and creative professionals. The initiative supports exchange, visibility, and community-building across the Swiss creative landscape through events, talks, meetups, digital communication, and cross-disciplinary programming.

The project brings together design leadership, public engagement, community infrastructure, and strategic communication. It creates space for designers, researchers, educators, industry professionals, and creative practitioners to connect, share work, and strengthen professional networks across Switzerland.

CHALLENGE

To build a community for designers and creatives where people can connect, support, and share with other fellow experts.

SOLUTION

Create a design and creative community named Visual Fields. Host consistent monthly networking events and Keynote lectures. Advertise and market the event to attract and retain members in Zurich, Luzern, and Basel.

RESULT

Successfully hosted multiple Visual Fields networking and Keynote events. Assembled a diverse network of talented designers and creatives. Developed a membership database, for attendees that opt-in, to have access to a member directory for reference. Launched a WhatsApp and Discord community, where we socialize, share job postings, and post tutorials for continuing education.
